Progression of my magazine

For my front cover I have blurred out the background and experimented with filters. The blurred effect gives a fast feel to the cover, as it is distorted, like the music. I feel the cover looks more effective in all black and white, but I experimented with keeping the model segregated from the filter to see if that would make him stand out more. I also increased the contrast, which I feel, makes him stand out more and would draw more attention to the magazine than to have some colour on the model or on both the model and the background. I have also changed the picture to experiment with the filters and to see what different images look like.
