I feel the one on the left looks more like a front cover, but has more of a house style look. The one on the right looks more like a contents page as it has less going on in the page, and it has a better composition.

Two variations of my contetns pages
These are two compromises between my final produces of the contents pages.

hmmm they are both quite interesting but im still not sure about the text layout on you pages. I think its that big 'page 32' that isn't quite right. Can we have another look at that ?
